You should listen to this discussion from The Center for Baptist Renewal with Jesse Owens on Thomas Monck. Jesse is one of the sharpest contemporary Baptist historians. I agree with him that those in the GB and PB have much we share in Baptist identity. youtu.be/LquvPBWaTeQ
We had another great The Kiffen Room gathering at SBTS with three new brothers joining us!
Such a great way to start a Wednesday by gathering with brothers to discuss Thomas Patient, baptism, and the Baptist old paths! This semester of the The Kiffen Room has been such a blessing to me so far!
We had our final The Kiffen Room meeting this morning over some good food at Highland Morning! Thankful for these brothers and looking forward to the spring semester!
I am looking forward to our spring reading for the The Kiffen Room to be "Plain Theology for Plain People." Cannot wait to read through this classic theology book with some dear brothers and be stirred to behold the beauty of the Christ faith! lexhampress.com/product/136743…
Here is the panel put on by the Andrew Fuller Center to celebrate the 230th anniversary of the Baptist Missionary Society. Hope this is a blessing! youtu.be/V92CiWTC9RA
Excited to share that the The Kiffen Room will be meeting again in the spring Southern Seminary! Looking forward to us diving into “The Gospel Worthy of All Acceptation” by Andrew Fuller. Thankful for us to be able to discuss Baptist history on campus!
Just wrapped up another semester of the The Kiffen Room! Thankful for the opportunity we had to ready and discuss Andrew Fuller's "Gospel Worthy of All Acceptation." Lord willing, we will gather again in the fall Southern Seminary! Looking to read something from Gill!
Looking forward to our first The Kiffen Room meeting of the semester! Grateful for Andrew Fuller Center providing us resources!
Really encouraged this morning that we had a total of 9 for The Kiffen Room including 4 who have never participated before! It was a blessing to discuss the life of Adoniram Judson as we prepare to read his work on baptism.
