Every time I hear the name Sam Lafferty during a Canucks game I just think of Rory Culkin in Under the Banner of Heaven, whose character Sam Lafferty, while not a murderer, ended up as a weirdo fundamentalist and that’s an association that will stick forever I’m afraid.
