In that bucket would also be another major tech journalist, here Levy, over the history of the web to also weigh in quickly with a "nothing burger" take on the day of. Again, it's hard to go against opinions like these: Newton, Patel, Levy. /7

Google also likes to wind up its "supporters" (note from Kint: I was not on their list) to unleash and recommend to their media outlets. If they like your take, you'll get pitched. /8

Wow, Google even monitors its own employees reactions to major news like this. "Tone is neutral" "stock is largely unaffected" and of course, "Communicate with Care" which the Courts have interpreted as let your sensitive chat messages purge and copy lawyers on emails. /9

Bottom-line, this landmark suite was a "Very High" cycle for Google. The Court issued a landmark opinion nearly 4yrs later that much of the opinions and influencers were wrong on. Of course, many hadn't read the complaints or seen the evidence. They were just spun. Beware. /10
