1st week ever of school over for some small people. Some littlies just walked past with their mums and they were talking non stop. I hope they love school as much as I did.

Binks has just appeared for the 1st time today. Lucy is sitting on the table, watching Binks wander around my room. They have reached a happy accommodation - they each let the other one do their thing. And then they go clubbing together late at night,🤣

The boys are sitting on either side of the table, cleaning themselves. Even though this is Lucy's house, there is no animosity between them. They are both well behaved cats.

I was a pretty good junior tennis player. I am in awe of wheelchair tennis players. They are so talented and skilled.

J might be away on holidays but I am still doing Friday Fakeaway. Homemade pizza using up what is left in the fridge: onion, bacon, corn, chilli, spinach. Will go to Surrey St tomorrow for a few bits to get me through to Wed when I go to Cardiff for 3 nights.

For the 1st time in years and years, am off to watch Australia play pajama cricket at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff next Friday. I really hope the weather picks up.

I get UC and housing benefit. My landlord gets £11.4K pa of that money (I live in one of 4 bedrooms in this house). I get less than £4K pa to live on. The whole system doesn't make sense.

Don't get me wrong - I am very grateful for the help. But the system is set up to help private landlords increase their net worth whilst ensuring those of us at the bottom have literally no way of getting ahead.

In case there are any pricks out there about to pile on because I am going to Cardiff to watch cricket whilst on UC, a kind & generous friend has paid for my train ticket, hotel accommodation, and ticket to the match. So don't bother having a go at me. I won't have it.

A Chinese swimmer with 1 arm and 1 leg swam 400m freestyle in 5 minutes. Fucking hell. I have 2 arms and 2 legs and have swum a lot but could never swim 400m in that time, even when I was young and really fit.
