Is your rubric in need of repair? Remember, rubrics are meant to clarify expectations, but poor design can make the experience anything but clear. These five guidelines will help. sbee.link/afdut93rbc via Cult of Pedagogy #teaching #educoach #learning

Ok, but have you seen Consensus? It's an AI-based GPT that returns results of actual research from journals. I'll be using this with my HS Ss for sure. Try the "synthesis" function with yes/no research questions, too. #ArtificialIntelligence #teachers consensus.app

Agree!sometimes we need to go slow to go fast. I notice the push to address all the standards often cuts time for reps for mastery. Pick the essentials & provide the reps for deeper learning.

Tomorrow, I start a new role as Director of Curriculum & Professional Learning in a nearby district. Excited to do the two things ALL leaders in education must do: 1. Promote student learning 2. Support staff Those 2 things ARE the job, no matter what level a leader is at.

ALL learners receive Tier 1 learning. It's where we make all the needed improvement. If scores are dropping, if misbehaviors are increasing, if gaps are widening, if Tier 2 & 3 population is growing, then it's a Tier 1 learning issue. We must acknowledge, accept, & act on this

I wanted to share my updated graphic with y'all because 1) it's pretty and 2) I've included CHECKING FOR A RESPONSE. So many times, students asked if I'd gotten their email and when I told them I responded, they'd be so shocked. THIS IS A CRITICAL STEP! #heymrsbond
