Last night, at approximately 11:51 pm, your Lake Dallas Police A-Shift Nights Officers responded to the 500 block of East Swisher Road for a reckless driver. Officer located the driver and after an investigation, arrested the driver for narcotics possession.

Over the weekend, your Lake Dallas Police B-Shift Officers answered approximately 56 calls for service and conducted 27 traffic stops resulting in several offense reports and 1 arrest. Good job B-Shift!! #busyweekend #police #LawEnforcement

Sometimes, accidents are happy ones! Officer Nelson responded to a 911 Hang Up call and got to meet Aaron Ruiz who is a huge fan of law enforcement and hopes to be a police officer one day! Aaron's dad, by the way, called 911 by accident helping Aaron into their vehicle.

Today, at approximately 12:38 pm, Lake Dallas Police Officers responded to a single vehicle accident in the 200 block of Swisher Road. Upon arrival, Officers encountered a combative male subject in a mental health crisis. He was taken into custody without incident.
