Sometimes, accidents are happy ones! Officer Nelson responded to a 911 Hang Up call and got to meet Aaron Ruiz who is a huge fan of law enforcement and hopes to be a police officer one day! Aaron's dad, by the way, called 911 by accident helping Aaron into their vehicle.

As much as your Lake Dallas Police Officers love to stand out in the pouring rain on Interstate 35E in the middle of the night, we should remind you that when hazardous conditions exist such as rain, ice, etc., #SlowDown , watch your distance between other vehicles, and be safe!!
