We are working through an active incident in the area of Brackett’s Crossing CC. A shelter in place notification has been sent out for people in the area to remain inside their homes while we search the area for a subject. We will release more info as it becomes available.

This active incident stems from a domestic situation in vehicle where a male subject fled on foot. Preliminary information indicates he may be armed. Numerous resources have been deployed to keep the area safe and locate the subject. Please call 911 to report anything suspicious

The shelter in place order in the Brackett’s Crossing CC area has been released. All golf course buildings and immediate areas have been cleared by law enforcement. The suspect is not in custody. The investigation remains very active. There are no reports of any physical injury

We can confirm the suspect mentioned in tweets from earlier today is now in custody. A media release with further information will be available later this afternoon.
