We earlier informed you of a road traffic collision on the M6 that had caused the road to be closed. Please be advised that we have now reopened one lane of traffic southbound, and two lanes of traffic northbound. We will continue to provide updates when we can.

Traffic has been held on the #M6 in both directions between J34 #Lancaster and J33 #Lancaster in #Lancashire for a Lancashire Police led incident There are delays of 30 minutes approaching the incident in both directions.

We know that many of you have been impacted by the closure of the M6 at Junction 33. The motorway has now re-opened. Thanks for your patience. A 36-year-old man from Preston has been arrested as part of an investigation into the Unauthorised Taking of a Motor Vehicle.

ROAD REOPENED. Last night we informed you of a a road closure on the M65 between J5 and J7 in both directions, due to a road traffic collision. We can now update you to say the road has now reopened in both directions. Thank you for your patience during this time

The man pictured is Frank Wrona and he is a murder. Earlier this year he murdered Richard Chamberlain in Colne with a knife. It was a savage attack fuelled by drugs and alcohol. Today he was jailed for life. Read more about our investigation 👉 orlo.uk/NgiPp

This is 30-year-old Mali Wright and he is a killer. Today he was jailed for nine years for the manslaughter of Daniel Allsop in Blackpool. Wright was also jailed for a further five and a half years for an unrelated Class A drugs supply matter. More 👉 orlo.uk/ZXbIW
