Spent some time this morning brushing up on my knowledge of #childhoodABI by watching the Child Brain Injury Trust workshops! 🧠 Very interesting & informative overview of childhood brain injury and strategies to support these children both in/out of school settings 🗣️ #mySLTday

Got the chance to deliver communication training to a lovely bunch of support staff today! 🗣️ I covered brain injury basics, communication strategies, was asked some fantastic questions & managed to engage everyone in a fun game of (total communication) charades! 🧠 #mySLTday

Received a very thoughtful & sentimental card today from a service I’m no longer going into, signed by all the clients I’d seen for their communication 🗣️🥺 It’s amazing just how much of an impact speech & language therapy and SLTs can have on those we support ❤️ #mySLTday

Just finished 5 very informative evenings on the Paediatric Dysphagia crash course with Savannah Senior and Chelsea Ridge 🍰 Looking forward to seeing some little ones on my Dysphagia caseload in the future now 🧠 #paediatricdysphagia
