Buffalo received $331 million in American Rescue funding. $100 million has been spent on revenue replacement. Now the mayor wants to spend another $60 million on budget gaps. Last year, the East Side made news for experiencing food apartheid and being intentionally underdeveloped

The percentage of children living in poverty in Buffalo is approx 40%. Over 50% of East Side residents are housing cost burdened. There is still only one grocery store in the Cold Springs/Fruit Belt neighborhood. This administration has no intention on investing in Black Buffalo
