Brexit was a lie. No need to be quiet about it.

A lot of positions in the party, certainly on a regional level, appear to be uncontested or people co opted because no one stood. What can be done to improve the amount of candidates coming forward for party roles?

If the Lib Dems want something to oppose Labour on this parliament, there’s a simple answer: Brexit. Hold them to account on how they try and “make Brexit work”. It’s right there.

Liz Trusses budget was a logical extension of the brexit ideology. The country didn’t want that budget or approach so brexit is now utterly pointless.

Voters would love a party with a positive vision. A policy of backing Labour until the focus group doesn’t like something and then campaigning on that isn’t a positive vision, its just opportunism.

The Lib Dems got 72 seats at the general election, almost all of them off the Tories, while running on a rejoining the EU single market platform, and no one is talking about this fact at all - not even the Lib Dems.
