Alan Rusbridger, speaking to LBC, criticised Robbie Gibb, listed as the 100 percent owner of the Jewish Chronicle (JC), though it's unclear if he still holds that role, for refusing to reveal the paper's real owner while serving on the BBC’s Editorial Standards Committee.

How revealing to see BBC News' breathless admiration for Israel blowing up pagers across Lebanon, maiming people randomly on the streets and in shops. Had Hizbollah randomly blown up Israelis in this manner, the BBC would have greeted its action with utter horror.

Can we agree on something. If a Tory leader a) Backed policies which condemned vulnerable children and pensioners to poverty b) While accepting £100,000 worth of freebies on a massive salary Labour supporters would unite in outrage. Yes or no? theguardian.com/politics/2024/…

As Starmer loudly courts Italy's far-right premier and doubles down on freezing elderly people, this is what the Guardian's two most senior political journalists have to say. You just have to laugh at this point.

Keir Starmer asked this question in parliament on 1 May 2024, showing that he knew that there was a black hole in the government’s finances and that he was already aware that Winter Fuel Allowance could be used to fill it. Prime Ministerial amnesia is an an amazing thing.

The BBC political editor (260K pa) thinks it's a story that the Downing Street chief of staff (170K pa) earns more than the PM (167Kpa). Welcome to political journalism! PS Laura Kuenssberg is on 325K, Nick Robinson 340K and Fiona Bruce even more. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

It has been revealed today by Save the Children UK that 710 newborn babies have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza. If you can not condemn the actions of a Government that has killed 710 newborn babies, and demand sanctions against them, what more will it take?

If Israel is indeed responsible for the ongoing device explosions in Lebanon then surely this is a dangerous escalation? For a west backed democratic state to use personal consumer products to maim and kill, and to be aware that innocents will die should fill us all with terror.

Breaking: Kier Starmer’s Labour Party received its largest donation ever — £4m from Quadrature Capital, a Cayman Islands hedge fund linked to fossil fuels, arms manufacturers, private health firms and tax havens. Who really holds power in politics? Is democracy for sale?

“ read my lips, no austerity under Labour” Winter fuel allowance cut, raised the OFGEM price cap, not saving you £300, but costing you an extra £140+. #AusterityAnas , what else are you planning to cut???? The only “change” with Labour is the colour of the rosette.

355. 355. Bullets. IOF tanks fired 355 bullets at 6-year-old Hind Rajab. A 6-year-old child. And, the likes of BBC News didn't even name who ki!!ed Hind shielding the occupation.

Is this like the time that Labour conference along with trade unions voted for proportional Representation? And then Keir Starmer just said no. And everyone moved on. No point in Labour or their conference at all.

£4 million from Cayman? That will do nicely, thank you taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2024/09/1… Labour would have been wise to turn down £4 million form a tax haven, but the Venn diagram with wise and Labour as the only options has no overlap in it right now.
