Ballots for Labour’s NEC and NPF arrive tomorrow. I am hoping that Labour Party members will support me and my @Labtowin colleagues. The recent election victory was only possible because of the change Keir Starmer made to the party, 1/3

The dire inheritance left to us after 14 years of Tory failure on housing. Labour is doing the hard work to fix the foundations so that we have decent, secure and affordable housing for all.

Incredibly sad to hear about the passing of Nicky Gavron. I had the privilege of meeting her on a number of occasions on advocating for good planning and placemaking. RIP 🌹

The thing is, we're way too reliant on big housebuilders to deliver the homes we need. Of course they'll say that planning reform isn't the main issue because—to them—it's not. What we need is diversification: 3,000 developers building 100 homes; not 30 companies building 10,000.

This is fantastic - great work by ⁦Ed Miliband⁩ and the ⁦The Labour Party⁩ ⁦Department for Energy Security and Net Zero⁩ team. 👏👏👏 Increasing energy security, tackling climate change, creating new jobs and - over time - bringing down energy bills: This is the difference a Labour govt. makes!

Today, we remember the 72 lives tragically lost, the countless loved ones left behind, and those who lost their homes. This devastating fire should have never occurred, and we must take decisive action to ensure it never happens again. Never forget. Never forgive. 💚
