Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Academy Orchestra are sending their Saturday morning rehearsing side by side with The National Youth Orchestra! It’s a great opportunity for our young aspiring orchestral players to meet and learn from other passionate young musicians from across the UK.

Thank you Glyndebourne for bringing the young singers of Youth Company such a fun, inspiring and interactive day of workshops into opera singing and performing. It has been such a treat, please come back to Liverpool again soon!

Today is the final day of our Emerging Musicians Fellowship auditions! This week we have welcome 42 fantastic candidates from a range of instruments to audition for a position on our 2024-25 Fellowship.

We've had a fantastic couple of days performing at Barrow Library. We discovered seaside stories from the region in the By The Sea 🌊 Dementia Friendly concert, and had a musical party with our Under 5 friends 🥳! Can't wait to come back soon 🤗

The Music Dept visited the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic last week where they enjoyed a programme of music by Enescu, Prokofiev & Brahms conducted by Lawrence Foster, with violin soloist Arabella Steinbacher. A fantastic opportunity to hear world-class live orchestral music in an amazing venue!
