A tough end to the season with a threadbare squad, as we went down to a 4-3 defeat to Weir Recreation AFC, who came back well after we took the lead in less than a minute. Goals from Kevin Smith (2) and Jason Fyfe for us. All the best to Weir’s.
Looking forward to a hard first pre-season game against SMAFA team Gleniffer Thistle Mens Team down in Beith.
Ideal pre-season preparation today against a sharp Gleniffer Thistle Mens Team team in Beith. Lots of effort, and much to work on in a 4-1 defeat. Paul McCambridge with our goal, a header (!) from a Daniel Speirs cross. Thanks to Glennifer for the game and all the best. Glasgow Colleges FA
Southside United 2-2 Lokos (4-2 on penalties) this morning in the annual Southside Cup. Draw was a fair result with both of our goals ironically coming from penalties (Scott Hodge and Kevin Smith). All the best to Southside United AFC for the season ahead.
With the season a few weeks away, we are looking for players in all positions to bolster a good squad looking to push on. SFA qualified coaching, excellent facilities and a great bunch of lads. DM if interested! Team Finder Scotland AmateurFixturesResultsSCO Glasgow Colleges FA
Unfortunately our goalkeeper has had to hang up the gloves due to a recurring injury, so any goalies out there looking for a regular game, please get in touch. Team Finder Scotland Glasgow Colleges FA AmateurFixturesResultsSCO Find A Player
Scott Hodge would like to point out that in fact won both Players’ PotY and joint Manager’s PotY for 2022/23. I hope you enjoy the extra award Scott, and it makes you very happy. Scott Hodge
Looking forward to playing new team Chandlers FC in the league tomorrow, hoping to pick up where we left off last week.
It doesn’t come much tougher than Clydebank SMFC in our league, so we are looking forward to a good test on home turf on Saturday.
Lokos 1-7 Clydebank SMFC this morning in the Glasgow Colleges FA Premier Division. Credit to Clydebank who showed lots of quality and intensity for the full 90 minutes.
We are looking for a friendly this Saturday 21 September, 10am kick off at Palace of Arts (pitch booked). Give us a DM if interested. Glasgow Colleges FA AmateurFixturesResultsSCO
