Some of the discourse I've seen surrounding Astro Bot has been smooth brained, to put it lightly.

I remember ages ago I said Mario Party should have online and I got people giving me a long list of arbitrary reasons why it would never work. Then Nintendo did it and it worked and everyone liked it. The lesson is, don't listen to naysayers half the time they talking shit.

£700 for a console is too much. Genuinely, that can go towards substantial upgrades to your pc at that point. It's not even like the PS5 has enough exclusives to really warrant it in the first place imo. I think Sony risks pricing themselves out the market.

I think it is better tbh. Combat is better, more strategy needed, better team mechanics in battle. Difficulty is more engaging and customisable. Exploration in over world better, entire optional dungeons/plot points/bosses. Substantial stuff which rewards you for not just

On the topic of weird and obscure music tracks. Microsoft Puzzle Collection on the GBC has some of the best music on the system some reason. The entire OST goes hard. I always like it when someone goes the extra mile just because they can.

Goemon is a weird series cos you have these absolutely amazing games, and barely anyone even know they exist when in reality they should be regarded as classics of the time. Only a small handful of games were ever localised and tbh, they weren't even the best of the series.
