Each year on September 11, Muslim Americans for Compassion show appreciation to our dedicated 911 telecommunicators, EMS personnel, & other first responders by visiting with them & delivering lunches. Thank you for your ongoing kindness & generosity to those who serve our city.

September 11, 2011 was one of the worst days in our nation's history. In the aftermath, our nation looked to the helpers to get us back on stable footing. In this spirit, I joined a group of community members to thank some of Louisville's finest public servants.

The remnants of Francine will bring some much needed rain to the region. The highest rainfall amounts are expected across south-central Kentucky.

A huge thanks to the Muslim Americans for Compassion for delivering lunches to first responders at MetroSafe and the Dept. of Corrections yesterday. We are all grateful for our first responders and their service and sacrifice to keep us safe.
