It was exciting to have award-winning singer-songwriter and Chickasaw Jordan Rainer perform at our McSwain Theatre. As a top finalist on NBC's “The Voice” and the 2023 New Female Artist of the Year in the Texas Country Music Awards, we wish Jordan continued success.

As citizens, one of the most important rights we have is our right to vote – it is one of the most effective ways to make a positive difference in our communities. Today, on National Voter Registration Day, we encourage everyone to make sure they are registered to vote.

Hunting and fishing have long played an important role in Chickasaw culture. Today, Chickasaw citizens can obtain a lifetime license to hunt and fish within the Chickasaw Nation by submitting a cost-free application at Chickasaw.net.

It was great to be with Chickasaw youth at OU Kids Day in Norman, where students experienced the excitement of Sooners’ football. Thank you to the University of Oklahoma for providing yet another outstanding opportunity for our Chickasaw students.
