The United Kingdom is a great country but we face a profound economic crisis.

That’s why I am standing to be Leader of the Conservative Party and your next Prime Minister.

I want to fix our economy, unite our Party and deliver for our country.

The party needs a unifying figure to do what’s right for the UK. At this moment, I believe that person is Rishi. I’m a fan of Boris but his return, given all that’s happened would not bring people together. We all need to set aside our differences and work for the greater good.

Boris Johnson will always be a hero for delivering Brexit.

But we must move on. It is simply not right to risk repeating the chaos & confusion of the last year.

On bus cuts, Combined Authority fell asleep at the wheel.
Letters, reported in today's CambridgeIndependent, show the Combined Authority knew about the cuts to services since June, more than 100 days ago. We saw panic and confusion when the CA should have been ready.
