Congratulations to the Lincoln-Way Rock Orchestra for another impressive concert June 14th. The 80-piece orchestra wowed the crowd at LWC with rock music spanning six decades. Great job!

Over 100 Knight Freshmen attended our premier "Tech Talk" that introduced Microsoft Office 365, and other technology tools, and how to use them. This three hour seminar had three 20 minute large group sections and then students "went to work" in break out sessions. Great start!

Welcome to the 24-25 school year. LWC's medical anatomy students dove headfirst into the material, teaming up to break down and organize the major concepts from their notes. The energy and collaboration in the room were incredible!

Today, Mrs. Pehle's AP Psychology classes at Lincoln-Way Central embraced the sunshine and a bit of nostalgia! Our students stepped outside to blow bubbles, while diving into some psychology. They explored how blowing bubbles can be tied to various psychological approaches.

Social media post 1: Today in English 4, Mrs. Korczak’s class did an interactive collaboration activity where students worked to complete a puzzle by working together in groups. Students collaborated and strategized; a timer increased the competition! ❤️🖤

Mrs. Korczak’s English 1 Honors students played Quizlet Live in teams to encode their first vocabulary words. Students collaborated with nearly everyone in the classroom, met new people, communicated, and problem solved. It was a fun challenge for our first Friday as Knights!❤️🖤

Our medical anatomy students geared up for their first test by playing Anatomy Battleship! Instead of calling out coordinates, they’re using medical roots, anatomical regions, and directional terms. Sink a ship, and you better know your anatomy!

Central teachers volunteered to come and speak to our future teachers in Teaching Internship about their own path to becoming an educator. A lot of good advice was given as the interns prepare for their next steps!

The Life Skills class had a special visitor in class today to learn about Hispanic Heritage Month! Señora Rycyna taught the students about famous Hispanic Americans and the students also learned some basic phrases and the colors in Spanish. It was muy divertido!
