The Aster, or ‘starwort’, is a birth #flower of #September, named after the goddess Astraea who metamorphosed into the constellation #Virgo when she fled the Earth. It is said her tears fell from the heavens as she mourned mankind’s loss of innocence, and transformed into Asters.

A week ago - on the beach before 9am to catch the tide out.

No matter how old you are, you can't have a beach holiday without building sandcastles & watching the tide wash them away 😄 This moated castle was almost completely destroyed by one single rogue wave, ahead of its fellows. Only the towered keep remained to slowly crumble away🌊

That’s my reality. I sent my daughter to school. She walked by my school bus and I told her “Bye, Kimberly, I love you! 🤟🏼” And I never saw her alive again.
