I grew up in a rural, low income home without electricity and running water. I am the former President of the Navajo Nation. I'm also a dad, neighbor, and trail runner. Together, we will flip Arizona’s 2nd and deliver for our residents.

Anyone who’s worked under tyrannical management and then leaves that job for one where everyone’s ideas are welcome + people are free and comfortable to be themselves while working toward a greater purpose understands the difference between the vibes at the RNC and DNC Roll Call.

My personal plea to Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party. Please don’t write off “red states” such as Montana. The energy and enthusiasm for moving forward, is here — like it is all across the country. There are good, decent people in states like mine that are waiting to be noticed.

I’ve honestly been a bit baffled at Joshua Hawley openly identifying + recognizing that he has an opponent in November. Those of us in in these blood red states know that many Republicans simply “ignore” the Democrats opposing them and behave as if they’re anointed to the seat.

One of the indelible memories I have of VP Harris was her performance in the Vice Presidential debate where she notably reclaimed her time. And I can’t help but feel that tonight, as she accepts the nomination, she will reclaim our time—for all women—once again.
