Yesterday, the news broke that a female teacher had a relationship with a male students. I'm relieved that there hasn't been jokes. Just parents and community members upset. Sometimes when it happens with women teachers people will joke and not take it seriously

Today I've heard COs and teachers alike saying how upsetting it was. No crass jokes.

The problem is, sometimes self care is too much work. Sometimes, all of it is too much work. Literally everything is too hard.

The little dog on the right is named Moshi. We are at least fostering for the weekend. We want to be really considerate of Cashew. Cashew is not bothered by other dogs but for months she's been our sole pup with my sisters dogs visiting us.
