Do I have this right? - ABIM requires yearly fees from physicians who are already cert to “maintain certification” - no evidence that MOC helps pt care - ABIM will report you as “not certified” if you don’t pay - hospitals require certification Idk kinda sounds like extortion

Heart rate drops to 0 ❤️‍🔥 during cardioneuroablation at left superior GP for frequent vasovagal syncope. #CNA performed by Mike Eskander. Opposite effect with ablation at RSGP below 👇. No response to atropine at end of procedure and patient syncope free nearly 6 months later!

Sweet MDPs during VT in patient with huge anterior wall and apical scar. Entrainment was performed with concealed fusion and PPI-TCL = 0. Would you ablate at this spot? #EPeeps

Defibrillation pad placement matters! If you work in prehospital or hospital medicine, and may be responsible for defibrillating someone, here's some important take-aways from the DOSE-VF trial 🧵 #resuscitation #emergencymedicine #ems #defib #cpr

Didn't believe it myself at first! The signal was indeed reproducible. I suspect an deeper, intramural focus. Fantastic mapping by Kevin Brady

Mike Eskander Kevin Brady If you think about it: if the PVC is reentrant, as many are, one could in theory record potentials during the whole diastole. If the PVC is automatic or triggered, one would not be able to record much before enough myocardium gets depolarized to be seen in surface ECG.

Another iatrogenic flutter- this case in the right atrium on a patient with prior ablation of typical flutter + RA focal AT. Not typical CTI flutter this time, but still CTI-dependent! 🎡 Where would you ablate? ⚡ #EPeeps

PVC ECG morphology looked more like LCC, but earliest location was just below the R-L commissure at the base of the R-L interleaflet triangle. 📐 #EPeeps

-43 msec precocity and 99% pacematch at R-L ILT. 1 burn ❤️‍🔥 PVC elimination using retrograde approach and "shepherd's crook" prolapsed ablation catheter orientation from just below the valve. Case performed by Mike Eskander
