There is no evidence of a prescription stimulant “crisis,” other than people not being able to access their prescribed meds. Worth noting DEA has no medical personnel & does not have the requisite knowledge to weigh in on medical issues but still tries to dictate medical practice

Hey Friedman Brain Institute 'drugs of abuse' is an outdated, stigmatizing phrase rejected by DSM & NIDA & 'hijack' massively oversimplifies their effect. Most ppl DON'T get addicted, so hijack is simply wrong. This is complex important stuff, let's not use it to push stigma

Despicable--but not surprising--to see the NYPD weaponize the death of one of their own to lie that bail reform is to blame. The alleged shooter *had bail set* in the high amount of $75,000. Had nothing whatsoever to do with bail reform, which only affects low level offenses.
