I'm wondering if these might be Harlequin ladybirds - deemed to be very invasive and infectious to other ladybird species. They have lots of colour variation, so not easy to identify. Need some help here: any invertebrate nerds who can help?! Biodiversity Ireland
It was wonderful to tag along to the Camphill Village Trust Partners Celebration event & lead a NovelEco Project co-design workshop with the communities of Larchfield Community, Botton & Croft. Workshop highlighted the challenges disabled people can experience when trying to visit wild spaces.
When asked about their perceptions of #wildspaces versus #formalgreenspace the class couldn’t agree. Half like near and manicured parks the other preferred the colourful dry stone wall Marcus Collier
