Confirms downward trajectory for SNP. Labour taking a haul in central belt is all but priced in so must hold areas like this to have any chance of winning GE in Scotland. Party needs to focus on core issues, not frippery & remind themselves what got them to Gov in first place.

Humza was talking about this year’s Westminster election where a vote for the greens is definitely a wasted vote.

I’d also point out that the SNP don’t need the greens, have previously governed from a minority position, and did so successfully.

No Irish people were involved at all. Apparently Labour politicians were the 'Courageous' leaders, not the people in unionist and nationalist communities in Northern Ireland, not politicians in The Republic? Not the people who started the process before Labour came to power!

Having this capability in the hands of a company from a hostile state is not in our interests. It's short-termism posing as a strategy, which is bad for our energy security and our economic resilience. Norway - which places national security high on its agenda when it comes to…

📞: In early March I visited the city of Kharkiv with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський, and saw the devastating impact of Russian shelling on residential neighbourhoods there. Since then, this city of over a million inhabitants has been under fire on an almost daily basis.

I support free tuition because it's an investment in the longterm future of our society, but the single biggest threat to to that policy is the dependency on money from China in our universities. No serious debate on this topic can ignore it. scotsman.com/education/scot…

NEW: Labour MP wannabe blasted for liking 'Hamas Youseless' & 'racist' online posts

Labour are under pressure to ditch one of their general election candidates for appearing to ‘like’ a series of “vile” social media attacks on Humza Yousaf and others.
