Check out this new paper from our lab, led by the fabulous Valentina Perosa. She investigated the neuropathological correlates of MRI-visible perivascular spaces in patients with CAA and found a direct relationship between dilation and amyloid buildup. link.springer.com/article/10.100…

New paper out! We found hemorrhagic lesions on ex vivo MRI in brain tissue of AD patients who received anti-amyloid immunotherapy. These lesions were associated with severe leptomeningeal CAA, suggesting a possible role for CAA in the formation of ARIA-H. academic.oup.com/braincomms/art…

New paper! Our wonderful postdoc Leon Munting (who's not on Twitter) analyzed in vivo two-photon microscopy data in unanesthetized mice and found that spontaneous vasomotion propagates along pial arterioles in the same way as evoked reactivity (1/2). See: journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/02…
