Yes, I've met Insp Kevin Smith at a couple of Landor LINKS cycling conferences and he is an exemplar of hard working road danger reduction policing.

I want to give a huge thanks to PC Mark Hodson Mark Hodson who retired this week and has worked relentlessly to help keep vulnerable road users safe in the West Midlands.
His role in innovative operations like Close Pass and Park Safe really moved the dial on roads policing.
See thread with reply from me and so many others who have been affected by the ground breaking work done by PCs Hodson and Hudson.
Mark will still 'be around' working to reduce road danger at source, but as an ex-Police officer with less stress: Happy Retirement Mark Hodson !
