The Conservatives absolutely detest this honest campaign ad, which was recently released by a disgruntled CCHQ job applicant. So please, let's not hamper their upcoming #LocalElection prospects, or embarrass them any further, by accidentally sharing it!

15 hrs and no electricity after another power cut in rural Northumberland. Yes we’ve had a storm & winds, but since Arwen we’ve had frequent supply interruptions. Manpower savaged & a lack of infrastructure investment means a network with zero resilience. F*ck Privatisation.

An 'independent inquiry' carried out by Michael Gove's minions, will find that the Conservative Mayor of Teesside commited no corruption when he sold £120m of public land to his mates for £100. Like if this is one HUGE lie. RT if we need a proper investigation.

This is the moment MAGA lost their minds over Taylor Swift and declared that she would stand up against Donald Trump and Marsha Blackburn no matter the consequences to her career. You know what happened? She became Time person of the year and deserved it. Why does MAGA have

I’ve recently received an email with details of the Philips Winter Sale. I must admit to being intrigued by the item on the lower left and whether it requires a lubricant. #philipswintersale #philips #lubricant

It appears that - used - EV buyers have finally recognised what a landmark car the BMW i3 is. For my use, the i3 REX is without doubt one of the best cars I’ve owned. #bmwi3 #BMW #bmw #autocar telegraph.co.uk/cars/features/…

With all the chatter about the forthcoming budget, I’m reminded of my Old Fella’s perspective; he was always happy to pay tax - and lots of it. Why? Because if one is paying lots of tax, one is earning lots. And he knew there isn’t such a thing as a free lunch.

The persistent rumours of a Geordie ‘Balkans’ breakaway republic must be true; there are several low flying Apaches in Northumberland today, presumably to suppress the t-shirt wearing hordes…

Growing up in the UK with cars only marginally more exciting than cold, grey porridge is why I adore American cars of a certain era; the power sliding vent window on a ‘68 Cadillac Eldorado is pure joy.

Criminalising homelessness & fining people for having nothing of their own is the most nasty, Victorian, absolutely obscene & utterly useless piece of legislation imaginable If you agree RT this widely to let Rishi Sunak know

Fly-tipping, Northumberland style. Two large loads dropped at Healey, nr Stocksfield - clearly from a tipper and not from the boot of an SUV. A visual metaphor for broken, Tory Britain.

Seen by a friend at GP’s; a young mum with child & baby refused to be forced to use online system due to weeks delay for appt. Politely, she refused to leave reception until she obtained an appt soon. It’s time to demand a NHS we want, not endure what we’re given.

One that got away. A fabulous signpost in Northumberland from a bygone era. Given the almost complete absence of meaningful rural policing here, it’s surprising it hasn’t been stolen for scrap value…

Yesterday evening as I settled down to watch an episode of Frasier on C4, I was presented with this ‘warning’. I’m wondering if ‘Outdated humour’ simply means that this brilliantly written, intelligent and witty adult sitcom is funny… Frasier Crane & Co.
