We will be launching a range of educational tools on 7th May in celebration of #WorldAsthmaDay and its 2024 theme ‘Asthma Education Empowers’.

The tools will focus on using the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) approach to managing asthma the delivery of best practice care.

Similar discussion today with two GPNs. More than ever T + C are affecting recruitment and retention of GPNs. There are only 16000 of them (FTE) and if 50% are > age 50 funding may leave is not a big ask! GPNs are already being paid much less than sec care counterparts

Mat leave and sick pay are major issues for #GPNs and need to be addressed if we are serious about retaining this highly skilled and knowledgeable nursing workforce
