Today, we celebrated 50 years of MassWIC at the State House. Raising children is both joyful and challenging, but the WIC program helps make sure that nutrition care is one less thing families have to worry about. Here’s to the next 50 years of supporting families!

When your child turns 2, the milk in their WIC food package will change from whole to a choice of 1% or skim milk. DYK 1%/skim milk has all the same nutrients as whole milk - just without the extra fat! You can try to mix whole milk with 1% or skim to slowly wean them down.
