7 years ago it was Poland that was traversed by a destructive derecho. It had a core of especially damaging winds, as shown on this figure from Mateusz Taszarek 🇵🇱 🇺🇸 et al.: journals.ametsoc.org/view/journals/…. The 3 radar loops here show evolution of this system, with focus on strongest part.
