We rode away from SABR into our new friendship. Great to meet you Erica Block and share stories of baseball reporting. Then, when you and your mom were texting the Yankees game as we stood in the TSA line, well, my mind leapt to my mom and our baseball bond. Wondrous!

You've taught me so much #BaseballandtheLaw ⚾️ 🏛 about the ways that my legal case against MLB fits into the long history tracking the intersection between judges and the game of baseball. Thank YOU!

.Jonathan Karl told the story I tell in #LockerRoomTalk the best I've ever heard it be told. Thanks, Jon, for taking a chance on my 1970s court case against MLB that resonates today with #womensports, women in broadcast booths and all having the access they need to do their jobs.

"Locker Room Talk," my book is out, and this morning, Jonathan Karl gave me the chance to talk about my court case against MLB and my experiences as a woman covering baseball way back when on ABC's This Week. Thanks, Jon! abcnews.go.com/ThisWeek/video…

The legal issue was and is equal access, and every reporter, writer, and broadcaster HAs equal access to tennis players. EQUAL ACCESS is what Judge Motley ruled on -- not locker room access. That's what MLB decided; to keep interviews in locker rooms. National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum ⚾

46 years after court ruled for equal access for women reporters in baseball, I tell my story in my book, Locker Room Talk, subject of this well-told story on This Week @https://abcnews.go.com/ThisWeek/video/melissa-ludtke-new-book-locker-room-talk-womans-113309395

It took me 46 years, but finally I'm telling my story of what happened to me and for women in sports media when I fought MLB for equal access so I could talk with ballplayers I was covering. Thank you Jonathan Karl for featuring my story on This Week!

Thanks Christine Brennan I'm delighted you walked through the opened doors to do the dogged reporting you've done and write the vital columns you get out to us. Hoping we'll talk about Locker Room Talk in D.C. when we get a date for a book talk. AWSM Lisa Olson
