The 88 year old Duke of Kent, in his 50th year as Colonel of the Scots Guards, is stepping down and handing over the colonelcy of the regiment to The Duke of Edinburgh.

As the Scots Guards Band marched past HRH The Duke of Kent the pipers played “The Colonel” in honour of His 50 years’ service to the Scots Guards. British Army 🇬🇧 The Royal Family Scots Guards
