The Democrats who think the party is better off with Biden are not unreasonable. Those of us who think Biden ought to withdraw are not unreasonable. Some choices are genuinely difficult are reasonable people can disagree. This one is. The November choice is not.

No Biden Administration policy is inconsistent with left-center expert thinking. Biden has substantially diminished capacity to defend his policies. I think this vital for contemporary presidents, so urge withdrawal. But those who emphasize policy only reasonably disagree.

I'm the little kid who cried when his team lost a little league game. I would rather the Democrats win the 2024 national election than have the joy of being able to say "I told you so" or "you did not listen to me" after they lose. Worried about people who prefer the latter.

I want to speak at the DNC just to be able to walk on stage to the finale of Mahler 2 (which will mean even my spouse will not vote for me).
