Daniel-Pascal Zorn Unbelievably clarifying, thanks for this. This provokes the question of what "system" means in Hegel as opposed to the polemical use of that term used as a weapon and a defense mechanism against anything vaguely "Hegelian". How do you see this?
Carlo Lancellotti The point in Dilthey was to distinguish between "experience" as a basis for natural science, and "experience" as a basis for the humanities. The former is methodically filtered, the latter is not. In the latter we experience the goodness or badness of acts, for instance.
