Something ugly is happening in Massachusetts these days. When our leaders can find the will to cut taxes for the rich while failing to protect vital social supports like hospitals in low-income communities (or the right to shelter), we need to consider voting for better leaders.

Fantastic news! The idea that unaccountable incumbent politicians in Mass. are undefeatable is an illusion. It's an uphill battle, yes, but one worth taking up. #mapoli

Rather shocking turn of events here. The DSA-backed MacKay was up 40 votes last night but it appears 234 provisional/overseas ballots broke an unexpected 68/32 towards Decker. Still, a rather disastrous result for an incumbent who had never received less than 83% of the vote.

The shutdowns are unfortunate and the result of passing the buck for decades. But something we are seeing with these shutdowns now under Eng is actual results when they are over. The only way out is through. This is what happens when you hire a person with actual rail experience.

I'm grateful that TIME's AI 100 list offers a concise portrait of the generative AI industry, and who the technology is being developed by, and for: The ultrarich. The list was hotly debated yesterday; these lists always are. My biggest concern is that it is entirely accurate.
