Car market statistics for #Germany are out now. Battery-#ElectricVehicles reached 18.4% throughout the year, with a peak in August, when the company car subsidy ended. PlugIns accounted for 6.2%. Purchase incentive for private cars came to a sudden end in December.

In the EU, official CO2 emissions from new passenger cars decreased from 2021 to 2022 by 5.1%, to 108 g/km. Based on the analysis, all manufacturers met their 2022 CO2 targets. The achieved CO2 reductions are owed primarily to an increased share of #EVs. theicct.org/publication/co…
