The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia H.E Salah Jama and the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation H.E Ali Yusuf Ali (Hosh) attended the Somalia Humanitarian Forum organized by the Somali Disaster Management Agency.

The forum which was also attended by the Federal Member States, the Banadir Regional Administration, and SSC Khatumo, aims to assess Somalia’s humanitarian situation, address challenges and improve aid distribution.

The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation H.E. Ali Yusuf Ali (Hosh) met the heads of the National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA) and Directorate of Civil Registration who provided updates on Somalia's registration and ID efforts.

The Somali Disaster Management Agency and the Turkish Embassy in Mogadishu concluded an Emergency Response Training, with a graduation ceremony attended by the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation H.E. Ali Yusuf Ali (Hosh).

Following the graduation ceremony, H.E. Ali Yusuf Ali (Hosh) held discussions with a delegation led by Ambassador Alper Aktaş of the Republic of Türkiye, who reaffirmed his country’s commitment to the priorities of the government and people of Somalia.

This morning in Mogadishu, the Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre and the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation H.E Ali Yusuf Ali (Hosh) lay the foundation stone of the Headquarters of the Ministry of Interior.
