I celebrated the life and legacy of Mzee Leonard Tate. He devoted his life to uplifting men to be productive members of society. His success has saved over a thousand men. It was more than fitting for Atl to honor him with a street name on Tuesday. Rest in Power!!!

It was a pleasure to serve with the Dean of Council, Jim Maddox. As the city's longest serving member, he represented SWAtl and our entire city. Rest in Power! Thank you for your service.

Rest well, good and faithful servant. Known as a Prayer Champion, Bertha Darden fought City Hall -- and won! Her transition was a shock to many. She will truly be missed. Thank you for fighting the good fight, and all you have done for the Atlanta Community and beyond.
