'A predator today would choose to be a social-media influencer: outside restraining power structures, with a direct line to their fans.'

Sizewell C's planning application had a 44,260 page environmental impact assessment.

Yet, the project will now be judicially reviewed on the grounds that they failed to consider the environmental impacts. Net Zero is impossible if we don't fix this.

“I just want a school where the teachers know things and will explain the answers.”

Will give £100 to anyone who can come up with a catchy alternative term for “the British Industrial Revolution” - by which I mean the gradual acceleration of innovation and improvement across all industries c.1600-1800 - that I can use without cringing.

2./ What conspiracy theorists fail to notice is those who come off worst in this coruscating investigation - other than Brand himself- are ...mainstream media organisations. The programme-makers fearlessly took on broadcasters they rely on for work, Channel 4 and the BBC.

Investigations into “open secrets” are one of the very hardest stories to tell — there is always a reason it has stayed buried for so long (usually money, power and expensive lawyers) despite so many industry insiders knowing about the allegations.

Dane Baptiste/A$ap BAP/Joke Dza Remember when one of his victims went to the police & was ignored so she wrote to the prime minister & her MP asking for help? She ended up in legal trouble for ‘harassment’. theguardian.com/culture/2014/s…
