A nice end to the week. Year 5 have been doing some product testing on different pasta salads already available to buy in preparation to designing and making their own. There were some very mixed reactions.

On Monday, Year 5 had a visit from Scary Little Girls music workshop, where they learned about some important events in our history and put this into their own version of a very famous song. The children still can’t stop singing the song.

There was a bit of a Roald Dahl theme in today's Book Club. 📚

There's been lots of dressing up fun in Year 5 today for World Book Day. We've spent lots of time reading and sharing our favourite books and authors. 📚

Coming to a supermarket near you soon... Year 5 have had a fun afternoon making (and eating) the pasta salads they had designed for their DT project. I think everyone likes their final product. 🌽🥕🥒

Yesterday, our Eco-Committee had a workshop with Rotherham Titans to help them understand what makes a healthy packed lunch so that we can work towards our actions, which will help us with our Eco Schools Green Flag renewal.

We do like a bit of art to finish off a Friday. This afternoon, we have been investigating complimentary and contrasting colours.

Year 5 have worked hard on their final art pieces this afternoon using a mixture of contrasting and complimentary colours!

Class 52 have enjoyed some geometry challenges for World Maths Day this morning.
