Watching a game on TV vs watching live in the stadium usually results in a few split opinions on what happens due to TV replays vs only live action etc. But I think we can all agree the ref in this Arsenal Brighton game is an incompetent twat who clearly isn’t good enough.

Chris Kavannah is Arsenal public enemy number 1 after this. What an absolute disgrace of a referee.

Was at the game. The ref didn’t see it, he was looking the other way. So unless VAR intervened on a yellow (which they can’t do), the ref must’ve had eyes in back of his head. Farcical decision by an inept, pathetic excuse of a referee. The inconsistency all game was insane.

That’s a good point for 10-man Arsenal side against 12-man Brighton. Chris Kavannah escorted off the pitch at full time such was the abuse he was taking from the Arsenal fans. And I can’t say I blame the fans at all. Best league in the world officiated by literal clowns 🤡

Match Day 3 and the Premier League has seen some incredible inconsistency from officials. Several match outcomes already negatively influenced by inept, unfit, and amateur officials who don’t fear any sanction or retribution. PGMOL, be ashamed. You’re ruining the game.
