The SONIC Lab had the opportunity to teach a course at MSU's 2024 Grandparents University. Students learned all about neurological changes and communication through activities including: Discovering important brain regions for communication & Practicing voice therapy techniques!

Vocal functions/behaviors of Phonotraumatic vocal hyperfunction (PVH) in daily life were studied. The first strong empirical evidence regarding the role of voice use in development of PVH is presented. Read more at: doi.org/10.1044/2024_J…
