A comfortable win in the cup for the boys tonight with goals from Danny Danny Mefford Niall Ferry and Luke Kelly sealing the win. Man of the match went to Niall Ferry for another solid performance. Special mention to Mark Cunningham with another huge penalty save.

A penalty calmly put away by Daryl Callaghan saw Muirend take the lead early on in the game after a handball. A man of the match performance from Mark Cunningham as he saved another penalty to keep us in front. Some late last ditch defending sealed our first 3 points in the league.

A poor start saw us 4-0 down at half time but the boys showed great resilience to make it 4-4 in the second half. Sean Cullen sealed the win after a tense shootout with Muirend taking the 5-4 win. Goals- Danny Gary Bowes OG
