No idea where first post went- United Airlines canceled our flights out of and into SYR and offered to rebook us 2 days later. Instead we rented cars and drove hours to actual airports. Most ridiculous travel exp of my life, ongoing 36 hours after leaving LHR.

We know a lot about what indentured labourers & enslaved Africans did on English plantations, but far less about what enslaved Indigenous people did. On St Christopher plantations, they were kept in a separate 'Indian House' & undertook 'fishing and fowling' for the household.

You know when you see an Carvana ad and think “it can’t possibly be that easy to sell a car”? Turns out, it is! An online form & a quick pickup later, cheque already cashed (for way above what dealer offered). Farewell, Garb, and thanks for the memories!
