Happy to share our new paper Science Advances: bit.ly/390MHwZ Shiori Iida revealed local chromatin motion remains steady throughout interphase, where the nucleus enlarges and DNA doubles! This allows cells to conduct housekeeping tasks under similar environments. (1/3)

Thrilled to have attended to the VBC PhD Symposium: Into the Unknown last week. Engaging talks, career workshops and the chance to connect with other students across Europe made this experience unforgettable!
Our Opinion paper "Is euchromatin really open?" has been officially published Trends Cell Biology. sciencedirect.com/science/articl… Interestingly, only very limited regions in euchromatin are open. Condensed chromatin is the default chromatin state in higher eukaryotic cells! (1/2)
Huge congratulations to super star Julia Maristany for winning the SRAA poster award in Multiscale Genome Organisation for her cool work on physicochemical regulation of nucleosome stability Multiscale Genome Organisation #BPS2024 Stayed tuned for the preprint out very soon on
I’m really grateful to Gates Cambridge for awarding me this prestigious scholarship to pursue my PhD in Chemistry at the Rosana Collepardo lab. Honoured to join the Gates Scholars community and excited to meet my fellow 2024 cohort members. Thanks once again for this HUGE opportunity
We are hiring postdocs at Cambridge University Join our diverse and inclusive team and help us understand chromatin phase transitions with multiscale simulations: jobs.cam.ac.uk/job/46962/ Friends please RT! Sorry if I've missed your posts, haven't been using X
