So honoured to have had our work on Biodiversity Net Gain highly commended in the Vice-Chancellor's awards University of Oxford 🥳 I feel incredibly lucky to work with such an amazing team and I am super excited to do more exciting research on this topic 🌱
It was an honour to work with the next generation of biodiversity scientists Tom Atkins Nat Duffus Sophus zu Ermgassen on our Oxford Martin School AGILE project, I learnt (and continue to learn) so much from them. The team's exciting work is only just beginning, so stay tuned!

I'm pleased to serve on Natural England's Biodiversity Net Gain evaluation advisory group. We've been frustrated that aspects of the implementation of #BNG make evaluation very difficult (despite Natural England's best intentions). We explain why in this open letter.

This follows an Open Letter, published yesterday, warning that a lack of transparency in reporting threatens potential gains in the new Biodiversity Net Gain policy. @naturalengland Steve Reed MP naturerecovery.ox.ac.uk/news/open-lett…
We share the concerns of ecologists, including members of Natural England's advisory group, who signed an open letter warning of barriers to the independent scrutiny of Biodiversity Net Gain. 📃👇 naturerecovery.ox.ac.uk/news/open-lett…
