KFOR continues to implement its mandate - based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 - to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and impartially.

They exchanged views on the latest security trends, including KFOR's activities under its UN mandate. Major General Özkan Ulutaş highlighted Türkiye’s long standing contributions to KFOR and to regional stability.

Today, the Commander of the #NATO-led #KFOR mission, Major General Özkan Ulutaş, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, His Excellency Hakan Fidan, at KFOR Headquarters, in Camp Film City, in Pristina.
